Vermont’s adult-use cannabis market hit a record high of $6.5m in February, representing a 6.9% growth rate from the previous month, according to Heady Vermont. Since the state’s recreation cannabis sales launched in October, it has generated $24.4m in sales so far, with almost 50 retailers approved for growth. However, Vermont lawmakers have continued to push for drug-law reform, unveiling several bills in March that would have legalised psychedelics such as mushrooms among other drugs. One of the bills introduced would decriminalise all drugs.
