Felony charges of cannabis possession in North Carolina have been filed against Michael Williams after he had a package containing more than three pounds of the drug intercepted at a CarMax car dealership in Gastonia, NC. Californian Williams, a CarMax contractor, had the package sent from Hollywood, California, according to investigators, and when it was handed over to him by officers, a subsequent search of his home led to further charges related to fraud and forgery. CarMax recently declared it will no longer sell vehicles in areas under level 4 travel restrictions due to COVID-19. The company has previously come under fire for selling “lemon” vehicles.
